Metaslider conflict with Cloudflare Rocket Loader

    Hello

    Depending on the browser/OS Metaslider is not showing when Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader is on.

    I had occasional issues on the combination Mac/Firefox and now it became permanent.

    Also on Chrome for Mac and PC.

    It seems that it works fine on Ipad and mobiles.

    According to this post from Cloudflare, it is possible to deactivate Rocket Loader for a specific script, as below:

    <script data-cfasync=”false” src=”/javascript.js”></script>

    Problem is that I have no idea on where I would place that code within the plugin.

    Further to that, I already had a similar issue with another app ( addThis ) and the above did not work.

    Of course, I do not want to disable Rocket Loader altogether, as it is one of the main benefits from Cloudflare.

    Any ideas?

    It really shouldn’t be this much hassle to use the product – but it would seem it is.

    CloudFlare was made aware of this thread by me. I had hoped they would stop by and provide some input. Unfortunately looks like they have decided not to do so.

    Rocket Loader does have the potential to create issues with JavaScript and jQuery because it could be an issue with how these items are coded on the page. If you have an issue with Rocket Loader, then you should open a support ticket so we can file a ticket with engineering.

    Doesn’t always work, unfortunately. Other options would be:

    1. Turning off apps/optional features by using PageRules. A lot of the cases appear to be happening on a specific URL(s) only, so this is one solution if Rocket Loader is breaking something.

    2. Turning off Rocket Loader and filing a bug with us so we can see why it is breaking.
