I got few Diaporamas (albums) made with Metaslider.
All of them works proprely before the last update. Since the last update, if I save an album, this album doesn’t work anymore, that stay on 1st image.

    WordPress ver. : 6.3.2
    Metaslider ver. : 3.60.1

Other intersting behaviors : Since the update, When I saved a diaporama and I came back in the config, all the settings are desactivated. I have to reactivate them, again, and the settings stays, but somethings wrong over there.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @stevesrc. Thanks for using MetaSlider. We have a troubleshooting guide here: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/

Can you go through that guide, please?

It sounds like the answer is “Yes” to the first four steps, so please start with Step 5.

Hello Steve, for the step 6 using roll back plugin, this exetension is not installed. That will be able to rollback to a previous version if I install this now or that will be too late?

Also, can we install this plugin safelly? I don’t have a tech team to help me so I’ll go by myself.

Hi @stevesrc. That plugin is safe to use.

However, we’ll issue a standard disclaimer that it’s always best to try things a test site first, or at least have a backup of your current site.

I cannot install the rollback extension :
“Cette extension ne fonctionne pas avec votre version de PHP.?En savoir plus sur la mise à jour de PHP.”

Tranlsation from french : This extension doesn’t work with your PHP version.

Hi @stevesrc. In that case, you may need to update your server. WP Rollback works with a minimum requires at least PHP 7.4 and so does MetaSlider is close to that.

Really anything lower than that is unsafe and may explain the issues you’re seeing with the slideshow.

Steve, I knew that our PHP and WP version was old. Everthing works perfectly before. So I understand that the new version od MetaSlider needs to be operate on PHP 7.4 and above? Can you tell me wich version of WP is required?

    Plugin Author Steve Burge

    (@stevejburge)

Hi @stevesrc. We support PHP 7.0 but are one of the very few plugins that too. Many have a minimum of 7.4 and many require at least 8.0.

WordPress officially requires at least 7.4 https://www.ads-software.com/about/requirements/

We gonna move on recent PHP and let you know
