Hello! I created a custom block theme, that is going to have a lot of images, so I decided to use the MetaSlider and the Lightbox plugins so I had fewer images on the pages. It’s working fine for what I wanted, but then I realized the lightbox will open if you click the other images on the page (such as the logo image in my header). I didn’t give them links. And looking at the code, I see they now have a fancybox image class.

I search for how to disable these images, but if I’m understanding correctly, the toggle that’s being mentioned to disable the blocks, I’m not seeing in my settings panel (for the individual image or blocks). I also look in the MetaSlider and Lightbox settings, but don’t see anything that looks relevant there. I’m using the Easy Fancybox for the required lightbox plugin.

I’m working on a localhost (xampp on my pc), so I can’t provide a link to view the pages. All the lightbox settings are defaults (I didn’t make any custom changes).

Can someone explain how to disable the lightbox for those specific images?

Hi @chugbug. Thanks for using MetaSlider.

The solution here is probably in Easy Fancybox rather than MetaSlider. Can you check in the Easy Fancybox settings to see if it can skip the images? https://imgur.com/a/hC4JHwq

Thanks for using MetaSlider. We’ve not seen a reply to this thread in over a week, so we’re closing it for now. Please post back again if this remains an issue.
