Meta slider is working correctly on the frontend. However when i insert the slider into a page all I see is a grey block saying Meta Slider and a circle going round saying loading Slideshow. I cant see the slideshow that is inserted. However when loading on the frontend it is inserted and working. All was fine until a day ago. How can i preview in the page i am creating?

Hi @dugallan. Thanks for using MetaSlider.

    • Can you review any changes you’ve made to your site in the last day or so. Have you updated or installed any new plugins?
    • Are you using the MetaSlider block to insert the slideshow?

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for the prompt reply. It is really refreshing to see that customer service still exists. Before you replied I deactivated the Cache section in WP Optimize Cache Plugin (Which I only activated this morning) and Reactivated WP Fastest Cache, and this resolved the problem. There seems to be a conflict with WP Optimize Cache Plugin and Meta Slider.

    Keep safe,

Sure thing, @dugallan. We’re happy to help. Yes, that sounds likely – cache plugins often causes issues like this. Can you ask the developers of the WP Optimize Cache Plugin if they offer a way to skip the preview screens?

Thanks for using MetaSlider. We’ve not heard from you in 2 weeks so are closing this discussion for now. Please follow up if this remains an issue.
