Metaslider Problem( I think)

  • So i have this problem…I have installed Meta Silder own my wordpress site and i created a “slide” with 3 photo…I saved it and copied the shortcode and paste it on my main page. But for some reason the photos won’t show upp… I have uploaded the photos on my main page(home) and you can see them. But when i put them on Meta slider suddenly you can’t see them.. I have tried everything i can come up with…But it seems like i don’t know much because i don’t know the how to fix this.

    – Are there any errors present on the Meta Slider admin page?
    – If there are no errors then it should be working, can you try disabling your other plugins?
    – Most of all, can you send me a link to a page where you have embedded the Meta Slider shortcode?

    No there is no errors on meta slider admin page. I have tried disabling every plugins but it didn’t work.

    Its trying to load images from here:

    https://adde127.0fees.net//blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/bf3_header1.jpg

    But it should be:

    https://adde127.0fees.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/bf3_header1.jpg

    Can you check your general settings and make sure you haven’t got “/blog” on the end of you Website Address and Site Address settings?

    I looked at my General settings and it is https://adde127.0fees.net. There is no “/blog” at the end. And i also checked the permalinks and it is “sample-post”. So there is no “/blog” anywhere

    Hmm, odd! I guess the site was once running from /blog?

    Can you try re-uploading the images as new attachments and putting the new ones into the slider instead?

    I looked at my media and checked the URL for the photos. And there is no /blog in the URL…But when i put it on Metasilder it says same thing you said. The /blog comes in the URL…

    It would be stored in the database, try uploading them again to rule it out.

    Ok, i uploaded the photos again but and it is the same problem. Metaslider is trying the to load with “/blog” in the URL. But if i click on the photos, in media it says there is no /blog in it..

    I’ve checked the preview:

    https://adde127.0fees.net/wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/preview.php?slider_id=725

    And it’s working ok.

    The preview does not load your theme or your plugins, it just loads the Meta Slider shortcode, so there will be an issue with your theme or other plugins somewhere.

    Try disabling all other plugins and if that fails, try switching your theme. My guess is you will be able to track the problem down to a single plugin.

    Nope…Still, for some reason it isn’t working i have tried everything you said…

    Hi,

    The preview isn’t working any longer.. so it won’t work on your pages either. Not sure what has happened to break it, but you need to get the preview working again first and foremost. Once it is working again, disable all other plugins and switch to a default, unedited theme. If the preview works, then it will work on your site.
