When I try to create a new slideshow I get an error message that states “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘hasOwnProperty’)” message. I have tried deactivating all the other plugins but still does not work. I am using the Twenty Twenty-Four theme. I have tried changing the theme to Twenty Twenty-One and Twenty Twenty-Three and I get a “Cookie check failed” error. What do I need to do to make this work?

Hi @skd63. Thanks for using MetaSlider.

Please check this guide and let us know what your testing shows: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/

In particular, look for anything has changed on your site since MetaSlider was working correctly for you.

My wordpress is up to date with the latest version, as well as MetaSlider. Everything seemed to be working fine until yesterday. I have disabled all the plugin except for MetaSlider, and still not working.

Thanks @skd3. In that situation, the likely problem is another plugin or site change that has happened in the last few days, but there are other possibilities.

This guide really will help you: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/. Have you tried Step 4, 5, and 6?

Thanks for using MetaSlider. We haven’t heard from you in over 10 days so we’re closing this ticket for now. Please post back if this remains an issue.
