MFA support

I am not aware that – if MFA is enabled for an account – mail authorization is not possible. However, if you have authorized the website to send emails using a specific account and then enable MFA, it may well be that you need to re-authenticate (because this action may invalidate existing access and refresh tokens). After that, I believe things should again work expected.

PS Did you notice that we now recommend that you switch to using the WPO365 | MICROSOFT GRAPH MAILER plugin? We have tried to make switching as easy as possible. Hi @wpo365, thank you for your swift reply. Can you confirm that WPO365 graph mail does allow MFA based authentication?

Sorry for my late response but yes, I can confirm that there is no issue when MFA is enabled for the user account that is used to submit emails to Microsoft Graph.
