[MH Magazine lite] Featured Images being cut off

    Hello, I am really enjoying the MH Magazine theme so far but I have run into an issue with my featured images. I imported content from another WordPress blog and all of those images are scaling to fit the featured images spaces, or the space is adjusting so the whole image is shown.

    All of the new images I have uploaded though while using the theme are getting cut off on the top and the bottom and not displaying correctly. I know that there are sometimes fields that they have to fit in, but I don’t know why it is doing it for some of the images and not others.

    Help would be great, I’m not too sure how to resolve this. I would like to not have to edit all the images and have them scale like the imported ones have done.

    You’re welcome! ?? But please notice that the premium version of the theme is a stand-alone theme for itself, so if you customize the lite version, you’ll need to customize the theme again, when you are upgrading to the premium version.

    Michael, I may not have noticed before, but I actually think it just started happening. On my home page at edmmr.com. Every article starts with “by” now for some reason. Any idea why that is?

    that’s because of the social plugin that you are using. When WordPress generates the excerpts, it takes automatically text from the beginning of a post. In your case the first word in every article is “by”, because of the attribution link at the lower right corner next to the social bar in your articles.

    You can either try to get rid of the attribution (maybe the plugin has an option for that) or you can replace the plugin. Displaying the plugin at the end of the articles, instead of the beginning, might also help.
