Microdata – empty Data Layer

    Hi,

    I’m not sure that is problem with your plugin, but maybe you can help:

    I have testing Woocommerce shop on localhost, I added product, installed your plugin. When I check site with plugin for Chrome, then Microdata Automatically Detected -> DataLayer is empty. No information about price etc.

    What to do to get information in DataLayer? Is it something with plugin configuration or PRO version. Or I must install other plugin?

    Hi,

    This part is not related to our plugin, it’s done by the Facebook pixel itself. They automatically try to identify microdata but sometimes faile for various reasons.

    There are plugins that can help you insert/improve the shema.org markup, but if you’re doing this just for Facebook I would not bother.

    To be honest, I never seen any practical implementation of this part in term of Facebook Ads, and I’m still waiting to get an answer from some of my Facebook contacts about how it is used in real life.
