Microsoft Edge Error and solution

The following surreal.

On EDGE (Microsoft browser) If you use a Google Font, then the “l” and the “f” will be inverted. It only happens in lower case, uppercase are OK.
To reproduce: Simply open a page with an email link in Edge, having a Google font (i.e. Roboto) and an “lf” in the link.
Work around (dirty): define “arial, helvetica, sans-serif” in the css class mail-link
