Good news, I think the plugin might already support two feature you can use for breaks without having to change the schedule.
Option 1: Force Override. Using this setting, you can enable the Force Override and Disable the Store for ordering, as shown here: https://ibb.co/VtYWztp. This will allow you to disable the store whenever you want to take a break and enabled it once the break is over.
Option 2: Add multiple schedule periods for a day. Using the schedule, you can click the + button to add multiple periods. Here is a quick video: https://www.loom.com/share/8643e8a6f6324570be4da18b21b686a4, for example. The store opens at 10AM to Noon. At Noon the store is closed for an hour until 1PM. Then the store is open from 1PM to 5PM, closed for an hour and open from 6PM to 10PM. You can easily create and schedule of break periods you would like to allow you to rest.
We hope this is helpful for you to setup the schedule with break periods or manually disable the store when you would like to take a break.
