Might as well be 100% premium

  • It looks pretty but almost every option / customization is gated behind their $50 price tag. And that’s not a one-off, it’s every year. Their lifetime pricing is $150.

    Gave it two stars because it’s frequently updated at least.

    2 stars ? A plugin review should be based on the plugin itself and customer service. You are giving the plugin a 2 star rating because premium features are not free ?? The plugin is free and works as expected once installed including all basic features as mentioned within the listing. If you need to customize, you have the option to buy the premium however it is definitely optional.

    Almost all of your settings are gated behind the paywall. I’m not talking about two or three really premium features. Anything basically other than enabling it and adding it to the site is a paid feature. I don’t know if it’s changed since I used it months ago but judging from the recent posts here, it hasn’t.

    If you want to make a premium product then make a premium product but don’t advertise it as Free and post it on WP.org if you’ve gated 95% of features / options.
