Might be good

  • Might be good, looks like it could be versatile if you work at it, so I gave it 3 stars – but as is often the case, it is a pain to get the thing to look like the sample pictures they uploaded.

    I don’t know about everyone else, but a large part of why I choose a theme is because I want it to look like the sample pictures the theme creator puts up.

    Unfortunately, it is rarely the case that a theme dose what is pictured right out of the box. There are often multiple hoops to go through. Once you’ve read all the documentation on them and tried 20 different things you may get something similar.

    I am suspicious that the images and demo are more akin to the premium versions, and not the version being offered – like a bait and switch. Who knows?

    Maybe someone will get it to work for them, but for me, I need to spend my valuable time elsewhere; I will be installing a theme from a tested and true developer, and my SITE will be an ORIGIN al work once again…

    Well, maybe I’ll check it out later. But I seriously think developers should stop uploading sample pictures that are so different than what the theme does when it’s installed. IMO I think if you advertise a gigantic image for the header, I would say don’t quarter it by default – things like that. I understand some things won’t be there for lack of content and settings but it seems to me that some things are pretty basic. My opinion. Thanks for responding.

    If you follow the steps correctly, You get the same old site setup as the demo with the image. Also, do let us know if you need any help for that. And, thank you for voicing you opinion. We’ll definitely try to look into this issue and streamline the process more to ease the onboarding process of the theme.
