Migrate / Copy Quizzes to New Install?

    I am trying to create a new site without copying the entire old site, how do I copy / migrate my HD Quiz Plugin Information from my old install to my new one?

    I tried to just transfer the plugin folder and that did not work.

    Any help would be GREAT!

    Hi wildtoddman,
    You can use the WordPress built in export/import tool!

    From your admin area, go to tools-> export. From there select Questions and then Download Export File.

    This will create an XML file that you can then use WordPress’ Import tool to import the questions to a new site.

    Just please note that this will NOT import/export everything. Some custom information such as your quiz settings will not be brought over, but this should at the very least, save you from having to add each question all over again.

    Thank you so much! You are awesome! I was trying to use the “All-In-One Migration” plugin, but it would either freeze at a certain point or just simply hit 100% and never go any further. No matter how many options I tried!

    I completely forgot that there was an export tool!

    Thank you for describing the method.
    I tried it and successfully imported my quiz from one site to another.
    I then copied the shortcode onto a page but nothing shows on the page on the frontend.
    I would be grateful for any suggestions how to fix this.
