Migrate Custom Php Site to WP

  • Recently I been asked if there are ways to migrate a custom Php site to wordpress. It has massive content, webshop, forum, blog. Is there anyone who has faced a similar situation?

    Now, I am not so confident but i been thinking to integrate the databases in some way.

    Since site is ‘custom’ there is no ready-to-use converters, you have to write and use ‘custom’ one, which will read your existing website structure and store it in WordPress database or XML (WXR)

    You can take existing CMS to WordPress converters as example and WordPress importer plugin code.
