  • *Edit* I have just gone through the migration and so far so good, one thing to note is make sure you UPDATE the old plugin to Version 3.3.3.

Once you have done this, then the alert message with the link will do the rest for you.

Much better! thank you for sorting this out guys,it’s been a while but looks like you have it cracked.

Great news – please share any experiences or comments here with migration. We will wait for 2.01! Thanks! BTW – is the old 3.3.3 plugin posted somewhere?

Yes, it supports the same features ??

    > is there a migration guide or anything like that? The product suddenly was retired. For example are tokens stored on the wp site the same way?

Not needed! If you have the old Braintree active, you just need to install / activate this new one. It will migrate your settings / tokens, and deactivate the old plugin for you. There’s nothing on the user side that needs to happen outside of this. Tokens are stored the same way as the old plugin did, or migrated to the new structure automatically if you used PayPal Powered by Braintree v1.

Not necessary, upgrading from v3.3.2 or earlier is fine. 3.3.3 was just intended to add the notice so people know they should migrate ??

This is out! This fixed a situation where if you’d had old Braintree, then PayPal Powered by Braintree v1, not all upgrade routines ran. Now anyone who has used either / both of these plugins in the past can upgrade with v2.0.1.
