Migrate from Traditional Website with Static html files to WordPress
-
Hi,
I have a traditional old website which is mainly composed by static html files. I have also designed a new website with WordPress.
Now I need to migrate the old website to the new one.
In WordPress, there are many URLs that cannot be identical to those in the old site. For example, https://www.mysite.com/index.htm , https://www.mysite.com/product1/order.htm , https://www.mysite.com/product1/file.exe , etc. Should I add all of them as redirect in .htaccess?
Is there a goode guide on how to do the migration properly?
Thanks
