Migrate Plugin Data

    Hi,

    We use your pro version single website license. We are currently rebuilding our site on a different page builder and will remove our old site. We want to bring all the contestants and voting data to this new site. Can you guide us on how we can do that?

    Currently the new site is on a staging server but it would be deployed on the same URL that we registered during purchasing your license.

    Hello

    If you’re using the same old database, then all the data will be there. If you’re creating as new website then you can only migrate the contestents. You can export contestants from Contest -> Contestants -> Export Contestants menu and import it.

    Hi Harish,

    Thanks for guiding me on this. I used the same Export Contestants function. When I imported the CSV on the new site, it transferred all the information correctly except for the Author’s name. It assigned the Admin User as the Author instead. Can you guide on this?

    Hello,

    If the User must be Loggedin to submit entries option enabled then the corresponding users will be assigned to the contest enteries otherwise Admin user will be the Author by default.
