Migrate some Pages to Posts

  • I’m working on a site that has over 600 pages (page types not post types). We receive about 5-10 customer pictures and testimonials via email per month and frequently need to ask for more testimonial or better pictures.

    Each testimonial page always has one to five photos and some wording. Once a product has more than one testimonial, an on-page list of links is manually added (by me) that points to the other testimonials for the product.

    I’m wondering what (if any) advantage(s) there might be to converting the existing 400-500 testimonials from pages to posts and then creating all new testimonials as posts? I am more than willing to do the conversion IF there is a clear upside in the future. Opinions/feedback appreciated.
