I want to migrate away from Rank Math to Yoast. I see that there is an import from Rank Math to Yoast in the Yoast settings, tools. Will this bring over everything or are there any settings or configurations that it does not migrate that I need to be aware of? Is there any way to test this? I appreciate your guidance in this matter. Thanks

Also is there a difference in what you can migrate with the Free Yoast vs. Premium Yoast?

Yoast SEO can import SEO data from the 3rd party Rank Math plugin. This means all the SEO data that you have entered in the Rank Math will migrate to Yoast SEO.

However, the settings data from the Rank Math won’t be imported. You’ll need to adjust the Yoast SEO settings after the SEO data migration.

We recommend you to create a staging site and test the data import feature on there before running it on your production website.

On the other hand, there’s no difference between Yoast SEO free and premium when migrating SEO data from a 3rd party plugin.

Sorry for the delay, it took a little time to get a staging site set up. I did run the import in Yoast for Rank Math and it only imported titles and meta descriptions on pages but only titles on posts, no meta descriptions. I also tried the SEO Data Transporter as suggested on your site and that does not with Rank Math as there is no option to import or analyze for Rank Math. We have several clients that we work with and if they come to us with anything other than Yoast, we like to migrate them to Yoast. I had another client that was trying to move from All in One SEO and that did not transfer either. We would appreciate the assistance in getting this migration to work. Please advise.
    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m in the same thinking, I have many problems with the Rank Math plugin that their support can’t solve, they are completely overwhelmed by the number of bugs, then I want to migrate to yoast.

But I’m afraid to have problem with migration.

I think is important for your plugin to give a correct migration option, like they do.

    Thanks
