Migrate users from bigcommerce to WordPress

    Hello team good morning

    My existing store was in bigcommerce for the last some years but as of now, we have created our new store with WordPress and connected existing big commerce stores with WordPress using this plugin.

    On our existing store around 1000 users already registered. but not in WordPress so how we can migrate all users with WordPress?

    Can you help me, please?

    Hi Laxman! The happy news is that you don’t need to migrate them. If an existing BC customer who is NOT a WordPress user tries to log into WordPress, the WordPress login will obviously fail. However, transparently the BC plugin will then try to authenticate against BigCommerce over the API. If that authentication succeeds then a WordPress user is created for the customer, without the customer ever realizing this process ever happened.

    This means you don’t have to migrate any users, they get migrated as they log in themselves.
