migrated from one inhouse domain to another

  • Hello,

    I follow the instructions here –> https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us/articles/214693138

    When I took a look at the migrated site, some pages had problem.
    my footer and the static home page uses the pagebuilder. After migration, the link to the page builder was gone and when I edit the page, it is just text. Is there anyway I can get back to page builder format?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    How did you do step 7 (Step seven – Update all other urls in the database)? Not all plugins do it the same way.

    yes..I used a better search and replace plugin to replace those strings.

    It sounds like the plugin didn’t get the updated paths. When you used the search.replace, did you do the whole DB or just the posts?

    the whole db, php files, etc. I ran first a dry run to see what it would do and then ran it. It updated a lot. strange that it was able to do most of the site except for a few pages.
