Migrating All my reviews to a new install

    HI I have the Site reviews plugin on one website and we are migrating to another website with a different design… I need to move my 60 reviews to the new site?

    Both sites use the same plugin

    1. First make sure that both sites are both using the latest version of Site Reviews
    2. [old website] Go to the Site Reviews > Tools page and export your settings.
    3. [old website] Next, go to the WordPress Tools > Export page and export all your content (your reviews will be exported along with your posts and pages). If you do not wish to export all your data, select “Reviews” only (please note that if you do this and have assigned any of your reviews to a page, then you will lose these assignments).
    4. [new website] go to the WordPress Tools > Import page and run the WordPress importer to import your exported content.
    5. [new website] Go to the Site Reviews > Tools page and import the settings.
    6. [new website] On the Site Reviews > Tools page run the “Migrate Plugin” tool
    7. [new website] Finally, on the Site Reviews > Tools page run the “Recalculate Summary Counts” tool.

    Note: In v5.0 there will be an additional step to take where you will also need to export/import your ratings from the Site Reviews > Tools page.
