I thought we’d discussed soemthing along these lines but anyway, here’s my problem:

I have a local development site say mydomain.local which I have set to one colour.
When I migrate to a remote server, say for third party support, to, say staging.mydomain.com and restore my local site it copies the existing selection of colour.

This might seem dumb but more than once I have backed up and restored onto the same site.

I will need to create a “non-staging” staging site for this purpose or be able to set colour scheme for the specific staging domain or whether local or not. so that restoring will lookup the domain name and apply the different scheme if set.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks anyway.

Yes indeed, in fact it was the support item under this.

I will at some stage add options to define staging and dev. Not sure when all depends on spare time.

Thanks, yes I understand. Just thought I’d mention it when it caused me a (soluble) problem.

    Pat,

    I have build version 3.

This now has the conceot of development and staging and settings so you can control accordingly.

As it is a new set of setting, I would recommend rather than upgrade – deactivate and delete version 2 and install version 3. Otherwise you may get temporary error notices before new setting are saved.
