I am currently using Easy Forms for Mailchimp and the “side by side” fields approach for a single, simple, GDPR-compliant first name/last name/email address form for Mailchimp subscriptions.

As Easy Forms appears to have been abandoned, and as it appears MC4WP should “technically” do everything I need (in its free version), I am looking to migrate — but with the testing I’ve done so far (I’m not a WP expert), I have not been able to work out how to get the side-by-side behaviour, which is also responsive by automatically going to multi-line mode when needed, that I want for my current website/page design.

Can you point me to resources, or even code snippets, that could help achieving this so that I can migrate the form away from Easy Forms?

The link is to the page(s) as is using Easy Forms for Mailchimp so you can see the behaviour I am looking for.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
