Migrating from Joomla to WordPress

Hi, my site is made with Joomla and WordPress for the blog, is a sub-directory. I would like to make the entire site WP, but when I do that, I will no longer have the posts in a sub-directory. What is the best way to move the files without dealing with a bunch of 404 errors? Thanks!
