• I have a blog on wordpress.com, to which I have mapped my own domain (ex. xyz.com). I have created a new www.ads-software.com blog on an external hosting site, with a different url, (ex. xyz2.com), and set up all of the settings.

I want to import my posts/comments/etc. to the new blog, and then repoint xyz.com to the new blog site.

Two questions: If I import posts, and then new comments are added to the old blog site, can I then import only the new comments?

Second: Is there any way to migrate the blog stats from my wordpress.com blog to my www.ads-software.com blog?

    Thanks.

  • The export you get from wordpress.com includes every post and or comment made. If you dont delete the “old” site you will end up with two differnt versions.
As far as i know the Stats for your blog wont migrate. But i did not try this.
    cheers
