Migrating Hacked Site

    If I am in the wrong place or posting inappropriately please let me know. Based on my research I have not found an answer to my question and think my question is OK.

    I am the administrator of the above site for an association of Pennsylvania judges. It is hosted on bluehost.com using a WordPress install there. Recently the site was hacked and phishing software installed. AFter some consultation with professors in cybersecurity at Penn State it was recommended that the site be cleaned and migrated to wordpress.com for the more robust security there.

    What I’ve found in the forums talks about migrating but does not seem to address migrating from shared hosting to wordpress.com. I’m also interested in having the site cleaned by someone other than myself. The association would pay for the service of cleaning and migrating but I can’t find out who might do this.

    If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

    These forums are volunteer and not for soliciting or finding jobs. If you can’t do the work yourself, you have the option of engaging a professional to assist you. If you want to follow that option and hire someone for this, then please try https://jobs.wordpress.net/

    FYI, it’s not a good idea to respond to work offers from random forum users who have read about your issues. You’re going to get people asking you on your own site and when that happens, please report that in a new topic.
