Migrating multiple blogs from blogger to WP

I’ve got four blogs that need to be migrated from blogger. I have installed WP on my main domain and it’s all setup and working, but when I try to use the import tool to bring them over, it puts them all in the same blog. Three of them are private (one will never be made public), but two of them will be made public when they’re ready to go.

In blogger, you can have multiple blogs with only one account, but it appears that with WP I either need to:
1. install WP 4 times,
2. create separate accounts, or
3. try using categories.

Here are the challenges I have with each approach:
1. I don’t want to have 4 separate installations just to separate the blogs.
2. I don’t want to have to log into separate accounts to manage the blogs.
3. I don’t see a way to import from blogger into a category.

Are there other options that I’m missing? Please tell me there’s a clean way to do this!
