Migrating posts and things from blogger problems

    Hi, I instlled WordPress yesterday, and have got it up and running in a basic way. I havent added a new template or anything, I was waiting till I had imported stuff from my old blogger. I went through the process, and it started, but its stuck on 1 and has been for about 8 hours and nothing is happening.

    Can anybody help? Is there something else I should be doing?

    how big is the import
    are you running up against the 2MB limit imposed by a lot of hosts?

    Hi, thank you for your post. um, I dont think so. Here is my blog for you to have a look at. How can I tell how big it is? Also, is there anyway I can get my host to allow me to migrate the blog? Have you heard anybody that has been able to?

    Just been in contact with my host, and they have set the upload limit to 32MB’s, but it still wont transfer, even with that limit. ??

    I click the button, and it starts to import then it says ‘set authors’ and sticks on the first post. The same as before. I’ve gone through the process again of setting authors, but it still wont upload. ??

    Thanks for the message. By looking at my Blogger, can you tell if its the new blogger or old? I dont know which it is. I wondered if that might be the problem.
