Migrating Share Stats to new plugin?

  • Hi there –

    The facebook button with Digg Digg continued to not work, so I decided to switch from using DIgg Digg to Share This. Unfortunately now all my share counts for all my blog posts have gone back down to zero.

    I can’t seem to find an answer about this anywhere and no one is answering me on the Share This support forum so maybe someone here knows – if you switch between social share plugins is there any way to transfer the counts to the new plugin? I always thought you could because the share buttons worked by searching the web for that url and counting the amount of times it appears. But, maybe I’m totally wrong. I just want to know the answer so I can stop wondering about it.
