Migrating site, can’t upload files to wp-content/uploads
-
I’ve just moved my site over to another server and I’m noticing I am unable to migrate any images to my new server. I get a get the following error:
Status: Starting upload of C:\Users\Greg.Fitzpatrick\Desktop\bu\MNO\wp-content\uploads\2017\06\smallperc-mobile-300x228.jpg Command: CWD /httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2017 Response: 250 CWD command successful Command: TYPE I Response: 200 Type set to I Command: PASV Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (207,97,210,200,151,38). Command: STOR smallperc-mobile-300x228.jpg Response: 550 smallperc-mobile-300x228.jpg: Permission denied Error: Critical file transfer error
Any idea how to fix this? I typically have my permissions set to 775 and have never run into any issues. If I try to set my permissions to 777 I am still unable to upload files to the /uploads folder.
This problem only happens within the /uploads folder.
Edit: I am able to upload files to the uploads folder through the WordPress interface. Just not directly via FTP.
