Migrating site to another domain

Hello, I currently migrated a website to another domain using All-in-One migration plugin and I started having some issues.

1. After a user registers, they are asked to verify the email and after they click on the verification link, nothing happens, it says that the account it’s verified, but in the back-end I can see that is not (still Awaiting email confirmation) and they also can’t login. I want them to verify the email so the default role they receive on registration has the option checked with Awaiting Email Confirmation in UM roles.

2. Email templates – I tried to edit the HTML files directly in FTP, however nothing happens, in the admin panel it doesn’t change and if I do it the other way, in FTP it doesn’t change. I also tried to delete the folder “emails” that it was created and found out other there are other files too (https://imgur.com/9W0D1bo) in the folder “templates” that I didn’t know they were created. Should I delete them too?

I really wouldn’t want to start from beginning with all the settings.
