Migrating stats dev -> prod site

  • Hello there,
    I set up a developement website by copying the database and every file of my production website.
    I then got the jetpack warning with the safe mode option.
    I clicked the wrong button: “starting over”…

    Now my old stats are available on the developpement website only, which was supposed to be taken offline.
    And all the stats are empty on my production website, it just started to count from today… My wordpress.com account shows the developement website now.

    How can I change my choice and choose to migrate or merge the stats between the two websites?

    It appears that you’ve had an identity crisis happen with your production and development site, which led to losing your stats on the production one as Jetpack started to track its stats from the start.

    Could you share with us your website URL so we can have those migrated? If you wish to remain private with that, you can reach out to us here instead.
