migrating wp 4.9.10 db to 4.9.8 wordpress

  • For various convoluted reasons that are beyond my control I am trying to migrate a database from a wordpress instance that is from WP version 4.9.10 to a version that is 4.9.8.

    Given that the target wordpress instance is a minor release older, will this cause any problems with the import?

    4.9.10 is a security update. Downgrading is a VERY BAD IDEA. The current secure version of 4.9 is 4.9.13.

    How can we help you fight against the convoluted reasoning that is pushing you over this cliff?
