Migrating WP to WP database?

  • I’ve found (and used!) the tools to migrate from B2evo to a WP platform. What I’m looking for now is a way to migrate the info from one WP database to another.

    I need to duplicate the extensive content I have on one domain to another domain and different WP database.

    Is there any such tool?

  • You mean to export from one working WP database into a new, empty DB?

    In the latest versions there is a backup plugin – it will make a backup (export) of all your DB.
    But you can do it manually, too: if you have access to phpMyadmin. Save it as a file and then import it into the new DB.
