    Hi

Trying to move this PODS based site to new home. Te migration tool only migrates pages, templates etc and not the data within the pods and their relationships. Is there a way to ‘easily’ do this. None of the CSV plugins I tried were any use. Tried in PHPMyadmin but the relationships between pods were broken after the move.

Willing to move onto a different events calendar if it can output the events in a list like we currently have.

    Thanks

    Paul

If you’re moving your entire site to a new home, it’s much better to use a Migration plugin designed for WordPress migrations (ie UpDraft, BackupBuddy, WP DB Migrate/Pro, etc.). This way connections, post id’s etc. are all exactly the same and the data and structure is migrated intact.

Exporting content and importing with relationships is only supported with WP All Export/Import (Pro) with the CIO Custom Fields plugin. You can get pre-sales questions answered through CIO and they are very helpful with answering questions about importing, etc, depending on your needs.

Relationships are tough because they don’t maintain the same post id typically when you import/export depending on when they are moved through to the new site and the order they copy through. That’s why if I have to do piecemeal migrations, I only do them with WP DB Migrate Pro.
