    Hi @shailac,

    We are here to assist.

Once you migrate the site from a different one, you will need to log in with the administrator credentials of the imported site to gain access to the site.
To disable the plugin without accessing the site, you may login to the file manager via FTP and go to wp-content/plugins/ and rename the plugin directories that you have trouble with.

I am trying to use the different FTPs, but i always get error code. What help can you do for me to retrieve the site I created here in WordPress

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
    Connection failed.

THis is what I get. Pleasehelp me fix in your end.

    Hi @shailac,

Kindly contact your hosting to solve the issue with the FTP. Migration will not affect the FTP user access of the site and hence it should be accessible.

So does this mean that this error has got nothing to do with wordpress? Because the Ifast Tech support told me that the error has got nothing to do with them. I am already using several FTPs and yet same error of unestablished connection keep coming.

I have to inform you as well that according to the message. WordPress left a word on my email to inform me on what to do next. Unfortunately, I havent received any, even on the spam folder, no e-mail received.

Can you help me retrieve my registered username and password? Because the FTP says that I am entering the wrong username and password. Or somehow help me change the former email I used to a new one

    Hi @shailac,

The plugin migrates only the database and files in the site, hence doesn’t touch the FTP credentials or access of the site. You must contact your hosting support team if you have forgotten the FTP credentials to retrieve it.

As for the WordPress admin user login credentials, the current user will be logged out of the site after import if the same credentials do not exist in the imported database. In this case, you should use your login credentials from the imported site to log in successfully. This happens because the database is replaced with the one the imported site and the same note is shown in the import screen while importing to warn you prior to import.
