    Hello,

I was using Pirate Form for my contact page. So I have upgraded to WPForm as you asked us to do so. I have understood that the ancient pirate form will be still available for 6 months.
I have imported the pirate form and it is now on th default form but it is not exactly the same (the all layout). So could you do it for me please so that the layout of the new WPForm match the layout of the old PirateForm ?

Also, I would like to know how to change the fonts and the size of the font in the new version (I would like to have Arial for the text, including the buttons text etc..)

Thank you so much for your help !
    Great day,
    Philippe

    Hi Philippe,

When you get a moment could you share how your form in WPForms look like currently with a link or a screenshot?

To change the style of form elements, you’ll need some custom CSS. While style customization is out of our support scope for WPForms Lite, we have a tutorial with a list of the CSS selectors that can be used to target individual form fields with your CSS code. We also have a guide on how to customize the submit button.

And in case it helps, here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner on how to add custom CSS to your site.

    Hello Ethan,

Thanks for your answer. Here is the link of my form that I created with Pirate : https://therapies-alternatives-bordeaux.fr/contact/

And here is the new form WPform upgraded for me : https://therapies-alternatives-bordeaux.fr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpforms-builder&view=fields&form_id=3267
By the way, it has changed and looks better than before… ??
I can see now one thing ; the text of the captcha button is in english ‘i am not a robot’ ?? Can I have it in french ?
Can you assist me to replace the form on my website though ?

Also, why did you decide to stop Pirate Form, it was super…no ? ??

Thank you for the info for the fonts, I’ll do it later !

    Great day,
    Philippe

    Hi Philipe,

    Thanks for the update!

We don’t have the option to change the text of the reCAPTCHA field, as it is being served from Google’s site. However, the text responds to the language setting of a user’s browser, so if a user has set their browser language to French, they’ll see the reCAPTCHA text in French.

To add WPForms to a page or post on your site, you’ll need to use WPForms’ form shortcode. The shortcode for your form can be viewed when you go to the Forms Overview page (in the WordPress admin area go to WPForms > All Forms).

In case it helps, we have a detailed tutorial on how to add a form to your site.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello Ethan,

    I hope you’re doing well ! ??
I would like to definitely move on to WPForm here on this page :
    https://therapies-alternatives-bordeaux.fr/contact/

But you will see if you test sending me a message that the recaptcha does not work !
I think my 2 plugin keys are ok and well set, so I can’t see what’s wrong.

Thank you so much for your help,
    Great day or week-end,

    Hi Philippe,

It looks like the error is due to reCAPTCHA being loaded twice on the page — once by WPForms, and once by either your theme or another plugin.

To resolve this, you can try to track down what’s generating the other reCAPTCHA code and, if possible, turn it off. You could contact your theme developer to see if there’s an option for this (it’s most often in the theme, unless you’re aware of a plugin that might use reCAPTCHA)

Alternatively you can enable No-Conflict Mode in WPForm’s reCAPTCHA settings (under WPForms > Settings > reCAPTCHA tab. This setting will remove any other occurrences of reCAPTCHA on pages where WPForms is used.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello Ethan,

Thanks a lot for your advices !

Indeed, another plugin uses the reCAPTCHA, this is a popupbuilder plugin. And the wpform appears in the content of the pop-up !
You could see it for example at : https://therapies-alternatives-bordeaux.fr/partenaires

So I have just done what you said about the non-conflict mode activation and it seems to be ok now !

I would have another point. What will become of all the settings of pirate form ? Like ‘options’ tab, ‘feilds settings’ tab, ‘fields labels’ tab, etc… ? Because, for example, with Pirate Form, I had set a confirmation email to be sent to the sender so that we had received its message. This does not function anymore with wpform, for the moment for me at least…maybe because I did not set well all the settings of the WPForm plugin ??

    Thank you so much, again,
    Great day,
    Philippe

    Hi Philippe,

In the WordPress admin area, clicking on WPForms in the sidebar will take you to the Forms Overview page. You can open the form builder for each form by clicking on the form title. The settings for your form can be found in the form builder.

The notification settings can be accessed when you click on the tabs Settings > Notifications in the form builder. Here’s our tutorial on setting up notification emails.

For form field settings (such as field labels, field description), you can click on the Fields tab in the form builder.

In case it helps, please see our tutorial on how to create/edit your forms for more details.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello Ethan,

Thanks for your last reply. I have tried to set up the notification emails and tried to set the tags of the new wpform but I did not succeed to do what I would like to have !
With Pirate form, the sender was receiving, not a copy of its email, but this message :
“” Bonjour, merci pour votre message !
Nous l’avons bien re?u et y répondrons dans les plus brefs délais.
En cas d’absence de réponse de notre part, n’hésitez pas à communiquer directement avec le(la) thérapeute concerné(e).
Toute l’équipe d’Alternatives Bordeaux vous souhaite une belle journée !
    “”
    through the ‘Template Email’ plugin.

This is what I would like to have and I am not good enough to make it happen with wpform.

Could you do it for me or send me the precise tutoriel to follow (as I did not find it either in your documentation). ?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Philippe,

To add your message to the notification email, you can go to your form builder > Settings > Notifications. In the Message field of the notification, you can add your preferred text, as shown in this screenshot.

WPForms Lite does not have the option to send separate notifications or store user submissions. So it’ll be best not to remove the {all_fields} Smart Tag, which adds the user’s entry details into the notification email.

In case it helps, the features to create multiple notifications and store entries is available with any of our paid licenses.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello,

Thank you, it helps for sure ! Things have been improved but the email sender (field #2) does not receive the notification with the message within…

Have you tested it with your own email ?

Have a great sunday evening ??
    Sincerely yours,
    Philippe
