    Dag Sybre,

do you have an approximate date for AIOSEO migration support?

Background for my question is that I am in the process of updating my book “Einstieg in WordPress 6” and I plan to introduce “The SEO Framework” as SEO plugin in the chapter about SEO.

In previous editions I used AIOSEO, but since the acquisition its presence in the backend has become way too agressive for my liking and for beginners the functionality is overkill.

I have read the thread titled “Migrator Question” and the current recommendation seems to be AIOSEO > Yoast > TSF, but a direct migration would of course be much nicer.

    Hallo!

Thank you for considering including TSF in your book. ??

Unfortunately, I have no ETA for AIOSEO migration support. My todo-list isn’t shrinking as fast as I’d hoped this year. The Transport extension is still in beta, and I need to work out a kink bothering some users (auto-deletion of transported data as a result of direct meta-key translation).

Until I implement All in One SEO Pack support, I advise transporting as you found: “AIOSEO > Yoast SEO > TSF.” This should work like direct migration, although the first step is out of my control. As always, I recommend creating a backup before transporting.

Thanx for your reply. I have TSF installed on two of my websites and I really love the user experience compared to AIOSEO. I just don’t like “Shoutware” (software with an agressive presence in the backup).

If I have a moment I will try AIOSEO > Yoast > TSF on one of the other sites.

Hello. Do you have any news about the release date for AIOSEO migration support?
