Migration has broken wordpress (combination Kameron template)

    I use the Kameron template from colormelon and have updated the template 2 weeks ago. It’s telling me needing the easy photography portfolio plugin (+ a sentence about migration), gridable an photection.

    I had installed this and activated these plugins, but it brokened the whole wordpress site. So I installed a backup again and tried it once again. Activating the easy portfolio plugin first, after that activating the migration plugin….Still the same result. It’s creating a second portfolio map and all old portfolio entries are not migrated. Nothing in the admin works and my galleries in front won’t open anymore and gave me a blanc page. So again I’ve restored the backup.

    I’ve updated the Kameron theme again (also colormelon), but decided not to update the plugins, so my old portfolio is still intact now.

    Is there anybody having the same issue and knowing the solution?
    I’m really hoping to get the updates to work. I love the Masonry grid, which is not available in the old version. Als the responsive version on my phone, doesn’t look that nice with long words in the descriptions at this moment.

    My question is about this plugin.
    I’m only writing I use it in combination with the Kameron template and got the old portfolio build within this theme.

    The plugin update and migration gave me troubles (Not the Kameron update).
    It’s not migrating my old content. Isn’t that a plugin relevant question???

    Why is this a Kameron support question?

    You need help migrating your Kameron theme portfolio to Easy Photography Portfolio – that’s a question about Kameron theme (how to migrate to Kameron 2+). By the way – there is a video tutorial on how to migrate from Kameron Portfolio post type to Easy Photography Portfolio – have a look at that message that shows up in your dashboard, or the Kameron documentation.

    In any case – it’s related to migrating Kameron Portfolio posts to Easy Photography Portfolio – it’s a theme support question.

    If you’d install a fresh copy of the theme (with no existing content) and activated Easy Photography Portfolio plugin everything would work – it’s not an Easy Photography Portfolio problem.
