    Does Total Upkeep handle searching and replacing serialized data when migrating to a new domain?

    Thanks a lot for reaching out! Total Upkeep is the perfect backups and migrations plugin to use to accomplish data serialization right out of the box. Total upkeep backups can be created in a number of ways.

    You can backup an entire WordPress website (database + files) or create a completely custom backup using specific files and database tables.

    What makes it work is that you will have the Total Upkeep plugin installed at the Source url as well as the Destination url. You’ll have the ability to create a “Magic Link” from the source website then paste that link into the Destination site to initiate your migration.

    After a restore your destination sites login data will reflect database of the source site.
