    Hello,

In your documentation about migrating to v3 I read this:

    Automatic merge
For most galleries, you just need to open the page editor and?re-save your post. New gallery features will be automatically merged with your gallery.”

What do you mean by “open the page editor”?
I’m using Saved Layouts with Classic Editor. Do you mean to open and re-save the pages that host the shortcode?

    Hey.

Thanks for the note, I’ve clarified it a bit in the article.

You need to re-save posts and pages built using the Gutenberg editor and blocks. Saved Layouts will be merged automatically, but you can also try to re-save them.

You don’t need to re-save pages with shortcodes.

    Regards, nK.

    Helo,

Having some issues with the latest versions and with hover actions. I don’t remember exactly how I did this in the beginning but, in order to get something nice on mobiles, I had setup Saved Layouts that were displaying both the background and the caption. Now I get a black background and the image displays only on hover and this is precisely what I didn’t want.

For most of them, it seems that the skin has been changed to Fade and when reverting to Classic it works again but not for all of them!

Some now display the title below the image and not on superimpose when switching to Classic skin.

I’m sending you more details by email, thanks.

I just replied to your email and this issue is a total mystery as I now have 2 sites (online and a clone from a previous backup) with the same latest version installed and the issue only appears at the online version.

The only difference between both sites is that the clone had version 3.0.0 installed and then I updated to version 3.1.1 directly, without transiting to version 3.1.0 – whilst the online went through version 3.1.0.

You’ll get all links in the email – thanks for checking them out!

    UPDATE
The issue was related to the CDN cache!
I purged all CDN cached files and I’m back to normal again.

    Many thanks for your help.
