Missing checkboxes for GTC and Privacy Policy + translation

My problem is, that legally it would be obligatory to have checkbox for the Privacy Policy and also separated checkbox for the General Terms and Conditions on the checkout page.

I understand your concern about the checkboxes on the checkout page. You can achieve this with the help of third-party plugins like Terms and Conditions Popup for WooCommerce.

Were you able to test of the same from a default theme? As it seems like you’ve done everything correctly.

However, it’s possible that the theme or another plugin is overriding your translation. Please ensure that the .po/.mo files are named correctly, following the text domain of the plugin, and that the language in your WordPress settings matches the one you’re translating to.

If the issue persists, please try using the Loco Translate plugin, which allows you to manage translations directly from your WordPress dashboard.

Hi, thank you, unfortunately, the popup is not right solution for the issue, we need to have the classic checkboxes, before the place an order button.
I wouldn’t like to activate an additional plugin because of only one word, I will use another solution for the issue (is seems, legally will be anought to use additional text in case of the GTC acceptance).

Hi, meantime, I inactivated all of the other plugins for feew minutes for testing, but the default checkbox is still missing.

For the first issue, please make sure that you have set your terms and condition page in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page setup.

Alternatively, go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Checkout and select the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions pages. Don’t forget to save the changes.

Hi, of course, the setup of the Privacy Policy and General terms and conditions pages are okay.

Unfortunately the General terms and conditions checkbox is also missing.

I’ve checked your checkout page, and also noticed that there’s no checkbox for the privacy policy or terms and conditions.

Let’s dive right in and fix your issue!

Navigate to Pages > All pages and open up your checkout page. Once the checkout page opens in the editor, replace the existing checkout block with the Classic checkout block. Alternatively, you can manually add the checkout shortcode. After you’ve made these changes, save the page and take a look. This should have everything back to normal!

Hi, thank you very much! The General Terms and Conditions checkbox is visible now, as I replaced the code, which generated via Woo automatically with the suggested default shortcode.

Also the special Hungarion obligatory translation of the button loads.

Currently only the Privacy Policy acceptaion is missing.

this solve the problem:

this is soo stupid…. why the new ver of woocommerce_checkout does not let you use the terms and condition check box, it’s super important because the card companies is not approving the website without it

this is simple solution but stupid one, the woo team neeed to change it back
