I want to set per category commission and I know how to do this from your tutorial here
    https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-commission/
Also I understand there is Commission hierarchy – Global -> Membership -> Vendor -> Product Category -> Product
which in this case means: My category commissions will override any commissions set in Global, Membership or Vendor settings correct?

Now what I what I want to achieve is to have to different rates (commissions) per category for standard users and for users who sell exclusively)only) on my site.
This is how is done on ENVATO Market and I want to copy this model, but then I can’t have same commissions let say for Books and for Software.

So to meet at the middle I may end up having per category commission and then any vendor who sell exclusively on my site I will discount all of his rates(in any category) by 10%. This will be workable solution too.

Your advice is greatly appreciate it.

    HI,

Also I understand there is Commission hierarchy – Global -> Membership -> Vendor -> Product Category -> Product

    – This commission setup hierarchy

    – Yes. Category commission will be only override if you set commission at individual product level.

Now what I what I want to achieve is to have to different rates (commissions) per category for standard users and for users who sell exclusively)only) on my site.

    – Do you want set two different type of commission? What is difference between standard user and sellers? How standard user will even receive commission?

    Thank You

Hi, by “user” I meant “Vendor” above and this is how I see it.
Set “standard” commission for standard vendors on category level and “Exclusive” commission for exclusive vendors on product level.
Is there any other way to achieve this, the way I described above will not work automatically and I have to adjust commission for exclusive vendors on product level every time.

    Thank you

Well, by default it’s not possible to set different commission at category level for different membership levels!
