    Hi all,
I am a new user of Caldera forms, and I have a problem.

I would like that users write a minimum of characters in a textarea of the form (it’s for a news submitting form, so I need at least X characters written in the textearea).

I didn’t find any information on the support. Can someone help me ?

    Thanks a lot,

    David

    Hi c2medias,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms, it means a lot to us.

You can set a minimum length for a text area using a custom processor. We have a guide to do it here: https://calderaforms.com/doc/custom-processing-of-caldera-forms-submissions/. Please note this is a developer-oriented document. If you are not comfortable with custom code, we recommend passing on this request to your developer or engaging a development professional.

If you are interested in using our custom services for this request, send us a message at calderaforms.com/contact.

Hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with additional questions.

    Hi Christie,
Thanks for your answer. I will take a look and ask to my developer to resolve our issue.

    Best regards,
