Min/Max of product category in bundle

    Hello!
    I’m working on a project using Product Bundles where I’ll like to set max/min based on the category product.

    Let’s say a Promotional package where the buyer can pick and edit the Bundle based on the products available on any set category, let say as example

    2 min/ 2 max out of “shoes” category
    3 min/max out of “ties” category
    1 min/max out of “shirts” category
    Total fixed to 6 products

    Is this possible one way or another?

    Hey @ark74 ??,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Min/Max quantity rules added by this plugin apply on all bundled items — it is not possible to limit these rules to specific categories or product groups inside the Product Bundle.

    However, you can achieve a similar result by using Product Bundles together with Composite Products. More specifically:

    • Create a Product Bundle for each category.
    • Define different Min/Max quantity rules for each Bundle.
    • Create a Composite Product with 3 components and add one Bundle to each component.

    Hello,

    This project got stuck for some time, but now I’m back now with the suggestion you have mentioned.

    I had to test over and over again since I wasn’t dealing correctly with the limits on the different “levels” of products, but after a little drawing (visual person over here) and reading carefully your advise I got it working.
