Hello, I’m the developer of Register Plus Redux. One of my users recently came to me to report a conflict with Mingle. Upon investigating your source code I came across the following function _include_pluggables(). I really appreciate the elegance of your code, in that, it doesn’t load pluggable until you have a function call that needs it. However, I’d really like to try and resolve whatever code you have that is somehow triggering before WordPress loads pluggable. I think an easy way to do this would be to have your _include_pluggables() write a log letting you know what function was called for that wasn’t already loaded. Once you have that we can trace backwards (hopefully) and get the offending code to run after pluggable is loaded. Would you be interested in assisting me with this? I know there’s not enough time in the day as it is, but it’s an interesting idea I think.

  • Hope I’m not being a space waster – but I’d just like to press the importance of resolving this issue. My community website BlendNZ NEEDS Mingle (and so I’m am forever grateful to those developers!) However Register Redux+ has to offer some valuable tools, most importantly the customized emails sent upon successful registration which are conflicting with the mingle plugin. If anything can be done to resolve this conflict I would be one HAPPY CHAPPY!

    God Bless
