Mingle social network: How to change friend search directory criteria

Hi there.

I am pretty new to the whole wordpress thing so any help is much appreciated.

I have installed the Mingle social network plugin onto my website. I want to know is it possible to change the search criteria of the friend directory search. E.g at present one can only search for their friend by typing in the user name. I would like for people to search by using first names, last names, home town etc.
