  • Hi @derrida

    Thanks for reaching out!

Kindly be informed that the Cart & Checkout Blocks are a beta feature to optimize for faster checkout. Additionally, WooCommerce is only 98% translated to Hebrew, hence, there will still be some text strings that are not yet fully translated.

In this case, you can use the Loco Translate plugin to translate these text strings on your site. Here’s the support documentation for your reference: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin#guides

    Hope this helps!

hi, thanks for the answer. but i do have to say, since we are talking about the same company, it seem bizzare that wordpress has gone the block way, and woocommerce, is still not ready for it.

also, i will add a new topic, but maybe i should also inform you here: once one add the mini cart block ( i have not checked others yet) but the front side load tons of react code, that should no be loaded on the front side.

and regarding the translations: do you think all will be translated in the next update?

    Hi there @derrida

hi, thanks for the answer. but i do have to say, since we are talking about the same company, it seem bizzare that wordpress has gone the block way, and woocommerce, is still not ready for it.

You are welcome. Kindly note, WooCommerce Blocks is a feature plugin for WooCommerce + Gutenberg. This plugin serves as a space to iterate and explore new Blocks and updates to existing blocks for WooCommerce, and how WooCommerce might work with the block editor.

regarding the translations: do you think all will be translated in the next update?

As a first step, it is useful to translate and test with a local installation, like with your set-up.

Then, suggesting those strings to be included in the official translation files included with the plugin, through this page, as you already did.

Finally, a Project Translation Editor (PTE) will check and add the suggested translated strings, for them to be available for everyone to use.

While investigating this, I noticed that there are no editors for this specific project, yet.?Feel free to become an editor, thus having a faster route to publishing the Hebrew translations also.

i will add a new topic, but maybe i should also inform you here: once one add the mini cart block ( i have not checked others yet) but the front side load tons of react code, that should no be loaded on the front side.

As I understand, you went ahead with opening a separate thread about that already.

Thank you so much for adding your input!

We appreciate you being an active part of the community ??

    Have a wonderful day!
